Angie has been commissioned to write a piece for piano and train. The piece will be premiered by Mareli Stolp (piano) on a metrorail commuter train traveling between the Stellenbosch and Cape Town stations.

Angie’s Afrikaans song, Die Ligte van Johannesburg, will be premiered at 19:30 on the 18th of October 2011 in the Conservatoire Hall at North-West University, Potchefstroom. This piece is the PUK Vice Chancellors Prize Commission.

Angie is currently composer in residence at the Visby International Composer’s Centre in Gotland, Sweden. She is working on the electronics for an upcoming work, Path of Most Resistance, which was commissioned by Dutch recorder virtuoso Erik Bosgraaf.
