Waldo Alexander, Magda de Vries and Jill Richards will, once again, join forces to perform Angie’s City Must Burn at the Unyazi Electronic Music Festival. The concert will take place on the 11th of September 2014 at The Goethe Institute in Johannesburg.

SAGA 631 will be performed at Fismer Hall, Stellenbosch on the 6th of August 2014. The performance of this multi-media work, which is a collaboration between Angie and video artist Eduardo Cachucho, will take the form of a research concert. Marietjie Pauw, a PhD student at Stellenbosch University, will present her research on the piece and call for audience responses. This research will contribute to her PhD Thesis: “Curating South African Flute Compositions: Landscapes as Theme of Exhibition”.

Angie will be travelling to Paris to take part in the Festival d’Automne à Paris during October 2013. Caroline Crenn, of Ensemble L’Instant Donné, will be performing Developing Nation at La Scène Watteau, Nogent-Le Perreux on the 17th of October 2013 and at Opéra National de Paris Bastille on the 19th of October 2013. The program will include works by several South African composers including Clare Loveday, Michael Blake, Andile Khumalo and Pierre-Henri Wicomb.

Petra Ronner will perform Angie Mullins’s Developing Nation on Friday the 4th of April 2013 in Winterthur, Switzerland. This piece, which was commissioned by NewMusicSA, was premiered by Ronner at the E-Music Indaba in September 2010.
